Luke has a lifelong passion about learning how things were made. By studying construction of antique furniture and old buildings, he wants his projects to be able stand the test of time. He is always studying and learning about old and new techniques in construction, wood joinery and creativity. His desire is that the projects are not only beautiful but will be strong and built so that they will be passed down for generations. He has been reviving the use of wood joinery and using a lot of old-world woodworking skills. This is essential whenever he encounters many older and historical restoration projects. His passion for woodworking keeps him reading about different wood species and the special qualities each has to offer and how to bring out the beauty and strength of each variety. He can build something as small and delicate as a spice rack, to a double bowl vanity, to a sturdy deck, to a Log Home. Versatility, durability, and creativity are all part of his vision.
